As we get ready to part ways with 2018, the time of the year has come again to set new and exciting goals. The thought of a brand new year makes us so excited about the endless possibilities ahead that feel so achievable right now. Writing a book? Easy peasy. Fully booking your programs? Not a question. Heck, at times we’re even *sure* that next year is when Oprah finally invites us to Super Soul Sunday!
Next year is always the year. Next year will always be different. Next year will forever be greater.
After many moons of embracing this mentality, I know more than ever that it will be your best year yet- but ONLY if you DECIDE you have what it takes to make it happen, Capt’n.
I attribute a ton of my annual success to the effort I pour into the year’s final quarter. After consecutive years of doubling and tripling my income in this span using a secret method I’ve never shared with anyone (until now), I’ve come to realize that many entrepreneurs are simply working the end of the year wrong!
To keep you from falling into a funk to start off your year, I’ve decided it’s time in my Goal Setting Party to teach you exactly how to effectively set goals that stick and bring you massive results! Today’s blog is just a glimpse of what’s to come if you decide to join the fun. I’m revealing my never-before-shared, end-of-the-year secret practice….
Reflect, Dream, Plan, Manifest (RDPM).
RDPM is the technique I use to start and end every year ready to conquer. There are SO many ways to implement RDPM into your business hygiene, which is what I believe makes it so crucial to know. It’s not your typical “one-size-fits-all” goal setting modality. It doesn’t take the vastness of your dreams lightly. It’s a process that guides you through the past, present, and future so you can establish the foundations you need in order to grab 2019 by the horns!
Through RDPM, I’ve grown to understand the following:
- Refusing to reflect on your previous year is the recipe for stagnation
- Ignoring your deepest desires to dream big is the recipe for confusion
- Plowing blindly into a new year without a plan is the recipe for failure
I truly believe RDPM is such a fun and efficient way to ready yourself for the waves of success you’re attracting. Through this process, you’ll have a plan for reflecting on what you’ve achieved (as well as what needed a bit more work), dream consciously about future you hope to create, intentionally plan your next steps, and manifest your desires by committing to clear and consistent action.
We know for a fact that what 2019 holds is full of surprises, the unexpected, and inevitable challenges. As the year draws to a close, I encourage you to avoid just going through the motions as you prepare for the future. Instead, try incorporating RDPM this season to bring you closer to your adventures and success to come.
